CARE INSTRUCTIONS

BATHROOMS

Rest assured all Jacuzzi products have been manufactured to the highest standards you would expect. Once you have completed your bathroom fit, it is important to care for these products correctly to keep them in pristine condition for a number of years to come. We have set out below some simple guidelines to follow:

Water Pressure
Many of the showers and brassware in the Jacuzzi collection are high performance items that have specific water pressure requirements between 1.5 and 2 bar. In some cases with our Twin products, J Tower showers and Essteam units the installation of a pump may be required to gain maximum performance.

Electric appliances in the bathroom
When mixing water and electricity in a bathroom it is important to seek professional advice with regards to current regulations. We specify for the installation of our whirlpool baths hot and cold water supply of balanced pressures, standard 13amp mains using 2.5mm core cable, unless installing the Aura whirlpool bath range with built in heaters which require 20amp mains using 4mm core cable.

Cleaning your new Bathroom
It is important to clean the Shower Enclosure glass and frame after use to prevent a build up of body fats. Simply use warm soapy water or commercial glass cleaners on the glass. Avoid polishes or abrasive cream cleaners on the frame or glass as some may cause damage. Jacuzzi UK do offer a simple range of cleaning products that you can buy online at Jacuzzi For You including microban cloths that cause minimum damage to all bathroom surfaces or materials.

HOT TUBS

Proper and regular maintenance of your hot tub will help it retain its beauty and performance. Once your Hot Tubs is up and running it is important to care for it correctly to keep it in pristine condition for a number of years to come. We have set out below some simple guidelines to follow:

Cleaning the Filters
Each Hot Tub is fitted with a filtration system. Water is pumped through the system for a period of time determined by your settings. If the Hot Tub has a 24 hour circulation pump, we recommend that this is set to the 24 hour setting. To ensure optimum performance we recommend these filters are hosed down once a week and cleaned with filter cleaner every 1 - 2 months. Filters need replacing every 18 months.

Draining and Refilling
About every 3 months, dependent on usage, you will need to replace the Hot Tub water completely. You will know it is time when you can not control the sudsing and or you can no longer get the normal feel or sparkle to the ater even though the key water balance measurements are all within the proper parameters. Refer to your manual for details or download here.

To preserve the Hot Tub finish, when empty clean with a non abrasive cleaner and ensure all soap is removed prior to refilling.

Regular cleaning of the cover with soapy water and careful handling will increase the life of this important component. And monthly washing of the headrests by removing them will too preserve their appearance. We recommend that you remove the pillows when adding chemical stock and periodically treat with a quality vinyl conditioner.
